Amendment No. 7 was offered by Representative Crawford: Page 173, lines 6 - 8: Delete all material and insert: "the sole purpose of transmission lines connecting a Fire Island wind farm to existing electrical infrastructure in Anchorage." Page 173, lines 12 - 14: Delete all material and insert: "the sole purpose of transmission lines connecting a Fire Island wind farm to existing electrical infrastructure in Anchorage." Representative Crawford moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 7 be adopted. Representative Meyer objected. Representative Joule moved and asked unanimous consent that he be allowed to abstain from voting because of a conflict of interest. Objection was heard, and Representative Joule was required to vote. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 7 be adopted?" The sum of $11,044,600 from the general fund to the Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Public Assistance, General Relief Assistance Program for the Senior Assistance program costs for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008."
